Technically good, but it felt like it lacked something to me... a bit lifeless...

There's really only a couple people I've seen that can regularly pull off rearranging an entire song to solo acoustic guitar though... I <3 Laurence Juber, and he started out doing Beatles covers acoustically.

Edgar Cruz is one of the BEST (and underappreciated) finger-style guitar players out there!

He's also done some awesome renditions of 'Hotel California', 'Dream on', and a few others.

An electric guitar?

That version is more suited to the electric guitar. If he would have done it the way EC did the 'unplugged' version, but added his own flare to it, I'm pretty sure it would have sounded a lot better.
