i used to fall asleep watching him when i was a kid... i swear my blood pressure drops considerably when i watch him lol... love that guy!

My mom (in her seventies now) is a huge fan.

I'm talking almost Elvis-crazy.

Mom's a pretty good painter herself, he was part of the inspiration.
When she finally got a computer a few months ago, it was painful getting her on the web.
(I was doing this over the phone.)

Ever the skeptic, I finally got her through a Google search and onto the Bob Ross website.

Now she's a web-surfing great grandmother!

Thanks again - posthumously - Mr. Ross.

I used to watch him on PBS Saturday mornings... I love this guy, and his paintings are great! I learned a lot from him.

my grandpa on my moms side was an oil painter, died pretty young, but was a tremendous painter

Im no good, but I love watching people paint, as it slowly comes into form and pieces together , it is like watching magic unfold in front of your eyes

They show 'The Best of The Joy of Painting' on PBS. I never miss it! Brings back A LOT of memories!
