Bob Ross could lower a meth head's blood pressure after a six month binge. :laugh2::laugh2:

He did seem like a very cool guy and as mellow as they come. He made painting look so easy.

I did a painting after watching a few of his shows
but it wasnt very mellow, no "Happy Trees" or laughing birds
but a ship wreck with a skull looking down on it

Bob Ross was awesome. I never got to sleep as quickly in my life as when I watched PBS and he started in about the 'happy trees.'

j/k! :)

Loved to watch him. He was great to watch after a bad day. Very soothing.

Yeah until I tried and it turned out nothing like Bob's painting! :laugh2::laugh2:
I did get into painting years later, but not really oils. It's been over a decade since I've painted anything actually.:laugh2:

I watched him as recently as this morning. That's when I told the old lady I would get her some painting things for christmas. Something for her to act interested in and never use. Like the Telecaster I gave her.
