I'm a fan of blue Les Pauls too. I have a Midnight Manhattan Blue and I also have a 68 Custom RI in Trans Blue Flame. I'll have to get some pix of them up.

Those midnight manhattans are the most beautiful guitars ever made, by anyone, ever!

That one is no longer on the market. It's hanging on my wall. :)

Well done, I was thinkin bout pullin the trigger on that one myself but the price was a little too dear. Be sure to post some proper pics!

The price didn't bother me, I had been looking for a Blue LP for a LOOOOONG time and no one bid against me so I got it for the base price asked.
Forgive the flash on the camera it makes the blue look lighter then it is. I chromed it out...Yes I am a redneck. :)

Just pick up one of the standard hunks, and have it sanded down and hosed with whatever you like.

Or buy a Carvin.

Why settle for a Carvin when you can have a Blue Gibson? Not knocking the Carvin but if I wanted one I would have bought one.

Refinishing is something I have thought about but I'm not sure my skill level is high enough to pull off something as good as what Last could do.

I've got a 75 deluxe in basalt blue, they're a bit rare, only 230 made over 3 years.

I beleive they did some repro's of the Deluxe in blue a few years ago when they did the re-issue. They might be as rare as original blue Deluxes though...

yep! I remember some 70's deluxes in blue finish!
