I'd pass, purely on the there being so much choice out there.
Also it has a string butler, a sign of an unhinged mind or a guitar that has frustrated it's owner so much with tuning issues they felt it was needed.
Either way, I'd pass.

That's quite an overthinking buddy.

You see they are all cracked, and some nibs chipped. I don't really think those are new frets.
You guys that thrive on details and now I'm accused of 'overthinking'? :laugh2:

I was only listing a few of the possible things I could think of as to how this could happen, it's called a hypothesis.

Doesn't mean any of it is fact, only some scenarios that seem to fit the question at hand.....:dunno:

^ well, the neck has no colour, and black guitars that have the body all black tend to extend that to the neck too. So it is an anomaly which, in addition to the rather rough work on the frets, could point to some somewhat amateur work done more extensively than what seems.
Exactly.. put together with the other pieces of the puzzle, more options come to light....:thumb:

Yeah neck has been sanded, but I don’t think this is a refret. If it is, then this has been done by a monkey.
Quite possible, that's why I put it out there for consideration.

Did you forget all of the messes we've seen in here from folks who got screwed over on a re-fret? :eek2:

I haven't..

It's just that to me , IMHO, without knowing the history on it and looking at the face evidence, it could conceivably be in the realm of possibility. So I put it out there.

That whole body looks sketchy. Those rings are metric in addition to the bridge!!

Compare the rings on the corners. Note the space between the screws and the ring corner. Its not a USA ring. Either someone “fixed this with metric parts or its a reneck?!!?!:dunno:

My guess would be someone bought a husk and put aftermarket parts on it. Probably a gotoh or tonepros bridge I doubt it's a metric import.
