I do have to say..... I can listen to GD pretty much any time. They haven’t done anything I haven’t at least liked.
Still remember when “Longview” came out. The guy at the record store had never heard of them. That had to be the early 90s. For a punk band, they’ve been around.
I even liked Billy Joel’s :laugh2: record with Norah Jones doing Everly Brothers songs.

Thank God! He’s been ruining that band for years!

Well his new band The Longshot sound like watered down pop/punk got thrown into an Uber with light whitemans blues.

Drive by Truckers/Isbell lyric "don't sing with a fake British accent" always reminds me of that clown. Not then, not now, not ever for me. He will not be missed.

I always figured all the stuff he was complaining about was his idea.. Dookie, Nimrod and Insomniac are good punk albums though.

Guess now he can go back to bangin’ Christie Brinkley lol:laugh2:

" The piano sounds like a carnival..

And the microphone smells like a beer..

And they sit at the bar and put bread in their jar,

And say Green Day, what you doin' here?..
