“But coach, do you mean...... I'm not a winner.”

If it had to be done, it’s hard to argue this wasn’t the appropriate team for it to occur on.

Total narcissist...! Surely the only possible response from the Bills can be "good riddance".

Cheers

MTG from Buffalo here,
The ship is sinking, time to bail. But Vontae Davis has a hamstring problem that started 7 years ago. He wasn't much use as a CB and he knew it.

At least the Pats lost.:cheers:

MTG Im a bills fan from the first Superbowl loss. Been hopeful ever since. It's a tough ship to be on being a bills fan. Jim Kelly deserved at least one of those, great player in the day. Maybe next year they can get it together I always say.

Reminds me of something Cubs fan George Will said about his team "Cub fans are 99% scar tissue."

Here is a statement from Vontae Davis from the Bflo News:

DnP_VITV4AAIlts.jpg

Hmmmmm... still looking for the part where he refers to his commitment to the team to which he contracted for the year. "I" used 23 times. "Me" and "My", 16 times. "We", none. "Team", none. "Commitment", none. "Responsibility", none. "Sorry", none.

Cheers

Comments under the Bflo News article:
"It's ok the offense and defense quit too"

"This is no Surprise. I was at the game and I also "RETIRED" at half time, I went home. This team was/is unwatchable. I so regret spending the money I did to go out to the game. The Bills are a complete waste of time and Money I have been going to Bills games for many many years and i have never left a game. I was also shocked walking down Abbott Rd after leaving. So many people left at halftime that it looked like Abbott Rd BEFORE the game. I am officially retired from attending and spending Money on the Bills"

"Can this season get any weirder?"

Believe in something. Even if it means retiring at halftime because you're losing.
I still remember when Hall of Fame third baseman Mike Schmidt retired in May 1989 even though he was leading the National League in runs batted in thus far that year.
He said he no longer had what he needed to play the way people expected him to play, and that was that. And he still got voted to the All-Star Game that year!
