I believe the Tribute models began since 2010 and have been highly praised for what it can deliver for its price. The model has gone through changes throughout years from aesthetics to components etc. I would just like to know from the people either own or have tried them, which year Tributes do you believe were the best? I think the 2013 models were the best with the selection between the 50s, 60s, and 70s and I believe all came with two piece mahogany as opposed to the previous multi-piece bodies. And the 60s came with Burst Buckers 1 and 2. But nowadays, the honeyburst on the 2017 or 2018 seems really tempting. What do you guys think of the Tributes?

2013 '50s Tribute GT, fat neck. Loved the P-90s but replaced with min-humbuckers. My #1.
2017 Tribute T GT, slim neck and 490s. Terrific value but I rarely pick it up.

I have a 2013 Honeyburst with P90s.

It has more in common with a production Gibson than my production guitars have with my R8.

It is not just good for the money — it is simply great at any price. Sure- it is blingless, but that has its own appeal.

Love my 2016 50's Tribute with it's fatass neck... Though the 2019 Classic has been taking much attention as of late .

Got a Satin Cherry 2012 LP Studio 70s Tribute with a pair of Mini Hums.
Damn thing weighs more than my 08 Standard by 1-1/2 pounds.

I love the sound and love the weight. I couldn't be more pleased.

What's important is what you think of them. Here yer only get 65 different views. Who cares. If you like them how about a report on what you are interested in instead.
I don’t disagree with what you said, but I don’t think it hurts to be curious and share opinions on this model. Of course the most important thing is which one I like :)

I can’t agree with you more. I’ve always had the thought that a Gibson Les Paul must have the bindings, fancy logo, and such but there’s just something about the raw-ness of the Tributes that make them so appealing.

That GT is beautiful. Did you relic it or is it natural aging? I play the hell out of mine, but even though the finish thin, it just doesn’t seem to wear. :/
the guy i bought it from played the piss ot of it, and i put on some aged parts after i got it.

2018s with the non weight relieved body & 490-498 series pickups - someone can correct me but were these not hardwired too?

man those are pretty. Can never go wrong with black and cream combo
Thanks, v. The Worn Ebony one is a 2010 50s Tribute with a pair of P-90s. I use it
for slide; keep it tuned to an open D. Lots of fun on that one.
