Footloose!
Funny you should post that.
Sammy Hagar had a good rocker on there called "The Girl Gets Around" and I finally bought it for that one song.
Everytime a girl got in my car she would see the cassette and get all excited.

Oh my God....
They just had to hear it, and they would fast forward thru the Hagar song!
I would listen to them trying to sing along with all those lame-ass songs until I decided I didn't want to bone them anymore and drop them off.
"Yeah, I gotta go home..."
My God, teenage girls are so f-ing stupid!

Finally one night, I dropped a girl off so I could recover a little sanity and she was appalled.
"But, I wanna hear one more song!!!"

I popped the cassette out and said "Here, keep it."
She was so happy I was giving her the tape to keep she never bothered to get offended.

Years later, Sammy came out with a compilation album that has that song on it so I bought it.
Finally worked that song out on guitar, I still love it.

Favorite sound motifs are from Jaws, the shark orcherstra stab and the shrieking violins and orchestra from Psycho when Anthony Perkins is stabbing in the shower scene.

By the way, this is available as a shower curatin for the truly warped!

Don't know if I'm exactly on topic but I'll chime in anyway. :p

First, to name the Conan score by Polydouris (yes greek :D) loved it, loved the movie as well, though the second one was a huge dissapointment.

Then, one of the best imho, Vangelis Papathanasiou, with scores like
Chariots of Fire and 1492 - Conquest of Paradise.

And last but not least, the great Ennio Morricone!
Once upon a time in America
The Godfather
The Mission
The good the Bad and the Ugly
Once upon a time in the west etc etc...
I'm surprised noone mentioned him

Yeah, another fan of Conan 1, the perfect score! :applause::thumb:

I have a three Cd imported set from Japan of Spaghetti Western music. It is in our 50 CD changer at my store. I absolutely love the stuff. Morricone and company really know how to put that stuff together.
