This guitar was based on what Stevie guitar looked like at the time of his death. It has the very worn area from Stevie's picking

Not sure on the electronics but the neck was a Fender RI ( refinished) The body was unfinished & enlarged stencils were used from photographs & laser cut to get all the nicks & grooves correct. Hopefully I can get in touch with Vic to post here.

I believe Vic is the guy if you are a artist who does not want to take their prized guitar on the road will produce a Artist replica.

I liked the pix with Flick holding the guitar better than those with LZF's wifey holding it.

I can actually look at the damned guitar when it is in Flick's mitts! :laugh2:

Very cool - thanks for posting this.

And, LZF, you're a lucky dawg.

WOW! ...and the guitar's not bad either. Seriously, that is really astounding. He must have spent ages on that finish getting it to look that good. He could teach the Fender Custom Shop a thing or two!

Wow, this is an old thread, but seeing that it is up again, does anyone have any ideas on how to scratch/burn in the SRVaughan signature on the back?

Here's mine that I built a year or two ago...
