:photos:I can’t ‘love’ what you write.....

I can’t get my damn phone to stop rotating the picture :laugh2: but you get the idea...

this guitar has a snarl in the bridge, a sweet clean in the middle that’s strat like, and a singing full neck. Plus it’s flawless, Gibson accidentally made a good production guitar and sent it to Guitar Center :dunno: it was a real diamond in the rough!

54 Goldtop reissue was the best solid body i ever had. I liked it more than any R9 or CC i had.

Today i have serious GAS for a ES330 or vintage Casino...

I am GASing for a P90 Gibson. I am far from a P90 expert so I was wondering if the forum could help by offering their opinions on:

- Best P90 Gibson money no object
- Best bang for your buck P90 option
- Your ideal P90 Gibson and why?

Just interested to chat about this on a rainy Sunday evening here in lockdown in Central Europe!

They're called LES PAUL JUNIORS

My junior lives at my friends studio. Every time I’ve tried to take it back be basically tells me I can’t have it back :laugh2: because he’s tracking someone with it. Apparently it sits just perfect in mixes :dunno:
Mine lives in my case in the closet, heavily guarded by pit bulls, an Oozy 9 mm with lazers, and a King Cobra(that thing bites). :)

Of all the guitars I've owned over 40+ years, my Memphis Custom Shop '61 Reissue VOS Figured with P-90's is my hands down favorite. Prices on the Memphis Custom Shop guitars are getting crazy.

How about a Custom Shop Les Paul Special, TV yellow. Single or double cut

All of my Gibsons have P90s except for the 54 which has the Alnico at the neck. My SG, and Special both have P90s, but my favorite is the 2011 Traditional with tapped P90s. Un-tapped they are 20% over-wound, while tapped they are back to the original (around 7K) wind. Personally, I think that was a brilliant idea by Gibson.
I second a '54-style Les Paul Custom with the ALNICO staple pickup at the neck and a P90 at the bridge -- I've had about eight originals and reissues and still own two ... beautiful sounds from the staple and fantastic possibilities from the two pickups combined.

if money is no object probably around Patel 1954 gold top Les Paul. Or I'd gladly play a 1957 Les Paul junior for the rest of my life great incredible resonant guitar. Or I could happily play a Gibson 330 what's the 2 p-90 pickups or a guitar this possibly one of my future instruments a 1954 Gibson es-175 with P90s it's a fully acoustic jazz guitar but it's a hell of a guitar it was good enough for Jeremy Spencer but if you just want out now rock and roll and all you want is just straight ahead rock sound get a Les Paul junior. I always hated them until I played one I always wanted to go. Cuz I think they're badass looking but a Les Paul junior is the coolest guitar I ever personally have played.

LP Jr has a huge array of tones w just volume and tone knob - no need for a neck pickup if you utilize it properly. Epiphone Elitist Casino does the job for me as well
