Best Display Stand For A Brand New Les Paul?

I use the Hercules stand as well and have never had an issue with the finishes of any guitars. Personally I always keep a guitar on a stand within easy reach. If it's in a case I am far less likely to pick it up, but that's just me. Wall hangers are a great idea, but again, the Hercules stands have served me well.

I agree, for my own reasons. I'm not retired and have a lot going on in my life daily. If the guitar is sitting in a case somewhere, I'm far less likely to hunt it down and pull it out to play. Just those extra steps. If it's on a stand, it's easier to just grab and play.

I have stands but I still like the dangerous road and lean them against anything. Cats are bad stands, chickens make for lousy standands. Most dead things are cool but a guitar will stink like cigarettes and chemicals.
