Genuine 50's Sprague Bumblebee Capacitors - .022/400V +-20% Tolerance with aged sleeving.

Aged 20AWG bus wire.

Each harness is wired 50's style and mounted in a real flamed maple template that has been bursted with nitrocellulous lacquer.

As of current stock, about 60% are PIO. You can always specify a preference when ordering, which we try and usually can accommodate.

No offense intended whatsoever, but waaay too much emphasis is put on the Mylar Vs. PIO thing when it comes to 50's Bee's. Both are correct, both were used, both sound great. It all depended on the year of the guitars and the caps that were on hand at the time. Remember, the Bee's were never designed specifically for the LP's. They were caps the amp guys used and the guitar employees would use them.

In our humble opinion, it's not about Mylar or PIO, it's about do you want a vintage correct cap or not?

Here's a testimony we just got this afternoon from a client who purchased our Holy Grail Les Paul harness for a Historic RI Les Paul:

"I just wanted to give you my initial impressions. In short: Wow!!! Worth every penny!

I upgraded because the volume pots did essentially nothing between 3-7 on my standard amp settings, then hit 8 and boom, overdriving like a jet engine. Now not only is the tone at all settings more clear and less muddy, but she's now so responsive to small changes in volume and tone. I honestly didnt even realize what i was missing. No more making adjustments at my amp to control tone! Being able to fine tune guitar settings really has brought out the full potential of my amp (18W Marshall). Overall I would say its a warmer, more rounded sound, but tone is hard to describe. I wasn't too happy with the burstbuckers and was thinking about switching to 57s, but now I realize it's just the stock wiring that held her back! More authentic upgrade and cheaper? Yes please!! I feel if Gibson supplied this wiring harness as stock, absolutely no one would complain about the pricing."

Well, the HG harness just arrived. But as I am going on holidays .... I won`t be able to try this harness out till I get back. My Tech will have it done by month end. Thx again Matt. Can`t wait to hear the difference the HG harness will make. It certainly looks beautiful. ;p
