1959 Burst in 100% original condition! Top has faded to nice dirty lemon burst. Nothing has been touched! Rare chance to get burst that hasn't been through a bunch of peoples hands. Here are a few specs: Pickups read Bridge 7.74 Neck 8.72 Weight 9.2 pounds Nut width 1 5/8ths (perfect 59 profile) Again, NO questions asked 100% original. Original keys have shrunk but can include a new set of Kluson keys

Rich Henry spotted this one and posted it. I thought I would share it here. A really clean burst at Cowtown Guitars. I don't know the serial # or know if it is in burstserial.com. Probably isn't. It's not a monster top, but still has nice flame and a nearly invisible top seam. Nice, nice guitar!

Damn!

I have a strange feeling it's going to end up on Pawn Stars, sooner or later.;)

Is it inappropriate to ask how much?
Holy cow[town] a person who asks politely. No it is not it is a public sale but i do not know if the price is listed on Cowtown Guitars website or if you have to call for the price.

That neck pickup sure is on the hot side!

I'd hate to be the guy that does it but I think I'd have to swap them things around. Good thing I'll never be able to afford it I guess.

Because it's fake! :laugh2:
Hey Eric, did you know that's my brother Chuck sitting on the hood of that Toyota holding Duane's darkburst?

Beautiful. Its funny I was looking at newer pics of bursts recently and it occurred to me how much they have faded in the 35 plus years I have been playing and wanting one. Ice tea is such a common color now that when I was young they were still very much cherry. I was watching a Billy Squire video for Lonely is the night and he is playing his burst (which I think as since been stolen) and it was vivid cherry sunburst. This was 1981, so if the guitar surfaced would it now be Ice Tea? Page's burst, Pearly, they were the ones and color that attracted me to the Les Paul. Not that I don't like the tea color, I guess it was just a sign of how much I have aged as well!!
