Keep an eye out. That model pops up fairly often and stays right in that price range.

I don't know what everyone is talking about, with the floyd. She isn't a 6 y/o, she can handle a Floyd just fine (even if she WAS 6, it wouldn't be an issue, people just have funny ideas)

Being able to set up a guitar with a floyd rose, is not something a 6 year old nor a 60 year old could do unless they were taught how to do it.

Some skilled players are unable to set up their guitars due to difficulties. If it was so easy, luthiers wouldn't make money off of it.

Playing a guitar with a floyd rose isn't difficult.. but if there if a problem.. well it'll cost a good amount if you keep have problems with it.

Cheers.

I had a Carvin that I loved, but I could not get over the Floyd. I have 2 guitars now with locking trems, 1 Floyd and 1 Kramer Spyder...I just keep them screwed down tight and don't even put the whammy bar on them. I like teh fine tune screws, but I don't need the rest of it...Just happened that the 2 used guitars I liked came that way...both are US made 80's Peavey Tracers, first rate guitars...
Just cause there's a Floyd on it doesn't mean you have to use it.

Yeah, dings are nothing...sounds like it could be a deal. Post when you are playing it.

That's the Virgo Vintage Celtic, right? Seems like a decent price if they are only minor dings. I think those were around $300 or so new.
