Florian's work looks great, due to the fact tha Luke's Burst is one of my fav bursts here some more pics of the real guitar
btw it has double white pickups
and as far as I know it has 'normal' Klusons back

I am not looking for a perfect copy, but florian's job on the burst is incredible.

this guitar is superb, I wonder why Gibson does not make a Collector choice.

Florian got alot of orange peal and pitting before wet sanding.
Wonder if its the custom nitro blend or the nozzle setting.

Final result is great but i bet he works alot during final sanding.

elle va se "fader" toute seule assez rapidement selon le maitre.

after having played the whole weekend, I can say that the sound is just amazing. sustain and precision are really better.
to finish the project I have just passed an order at MSCC for:
- Limited Edition NOS Sprague Vitamin Wiring Harness
- Aged '59 Replica Course Knurl Toggle Switch
- Aged 50s Replica "Thumb Cutters" Pointer Washers

arrived and mounted.
the harness with Sprague's just amazing, even better than the standard I had already assembled, although excellent. the most amazing is the tone usable over the entire stroke of the knob.
I ordered MSCC aged tuners, to finish the job as it should.
