I'm wondering if the sales of Epiphone Valve Juniors went up because of this video? He makes that amp sound amazing!

It's refreshing to hear somebody FINALLY play a burst CLEAN and play something other than blues rock licks distorted. Plus as a Al green fan it's nice to recognize him playing *I'm so glad you're mine* . Never heard anybody play soul music on a burst I like that.
THANK YOU. I have been trying to figure out what Al Green song that was for months.

I’d still like to hear it scream just a little! Old rocker, what can I say?

It's all down to the VOX coily cable

So cool. His choice of a single-ended Epi Valve Jr. amp made me smile. That's all grit, no frill, true tone. "Thee" Les Paul tone!

It sure does sound juicy. That amp head sold for $99 new when it came out about 10 years or so ago. I had bought one, but it didn't sound quite that good when I was behind the wheel.
Well it's obviously not the amp. it's the coily cable.

That's where all the tone is, naturally. you need a 200 dollar 24K gold(plated) coily cable. lol
