Bad Banana

I love Bananas, but they burn my guts, especially if I have one first thing when I wake up.

Anyone else get that?

Bananas WERE my favorite fruit for many years. Recently they began trying to kill me when I eat them. Some call it an allergic reaction, but I think it is a deliberate attempt at vengeance for consuming so many of their kind. Only the raw ones though. Baked, as in bread or muffins, have no such effect. So HA HA bananas! Mankind wins again!

Bananas settle my stomach.

They are good for quick energy ... a favorite snack before or after a run or bicycle ride.

Plus they make a great smoothie additive to thicken it up ... either that or Greek Yogurt.

I found if I pull the bunch apart and put 'em in a large bowl on the counter, they last a lot longer without going bad.

My missus throws the overripe ones in the freezer and uses them for banana bread or cake.
