Wow love the Limba back, and the binding came out sweet.

she's now in traction having the fretboard glued on!

you HAVE to be..... little details will bite you in the ass if you don't take care of them right out the box......

this guitar is going to be on stage with a fairly popular local band who play with many other local bands..... it needs to be 100%.

You have to think about it like this... Someone that has never seen one of your guitars before is going to pick that up... and if they see a gap in the binding, or a tuner thats not quite ceneterd or a poor fitting neck pocket.. they are going to have a bad taste for your guitars and when their buddy asks them later if they ever heard of "brand X" guitars.. he's going to get an earfull of bad press.... from that one guitar you left go out the door with some flaws in it..

anyway... I just unclamped the fingerboard.. now she's resting a bit while i get some paint work done on other guitars tonight... I'll carve her neck this weekend.

(I found the AC/DC poster in myhouse when i bought it.still ont he attic wall where i hung it in high school!!! LOL)

Ok... this one is back on track (again).. the customer finally made up his mind as to finish.

so.. here it is now that its beed stained.. gotta give it a sealer coat and then a slight black edge burst. then we'll be cookin!

She's about halway cured now.. got a warm day here in PA, and snapped a couple pictures before I sscuff her down to speed up the offgassing..

thats the THIRD rendition of that top btw... to dark.. to light.. just right LOL!!!! (i prefered the dark one...but.. the customer is always right!!!!)

MAN... I cant believe i've been working on this guitar for all but a year..

Some of its my fault (getting too much repair work in and getting myeslf swamped) some of its in design changes and re-works (originally this thing was 3 ply binding and a burst..) but...the end result is lookin good.

Hopefully the next time i post will be pics of delivery!

Edit.... CRAP... forgot to sign it..... grrrrrrrrrrrr..... oh well.. back of hte headstock... i'll fix that when i blow some clear tomorrow...

The bitch of this whole thing is that now i have to build two more..

One for myself.. and one for an Air Farce who's already pestering the living begezus out of me..

Sooooo... I'm gonna build three.. just in case!!
