That was when James Hetfield got injured and had to cancel, GnR could have saved the day but Axl walked off stage for some reason, mic issues i think

Bet they wanted to though, 99.9% of that audience were probably thinking the same as the person who threw the bottle but had the good sense and respect not to, there's always going to be that .01 percentage though, unfortunately.

Perhaps an apology when he finally decided to get off his ass and sing would have made those people not feel like they had been shafted.

The purpose of this thread is to show how other bands deal with these situations, they single out whose responsible and deal with them, not throw a tantrum and storm out.

I'm a GnR (old) fan, believe it or not, Axl played a major part in making them who they were, i guess nobodies perfect, well, except for maybe

I've give Axl props for diving headlong into the crowd and coming up swinging. That was bold. Then he turned into a bitch smashing the mic and leaving. He should have said something funny like "pardon the interruption, seems that security is back stage at the buffet! Who wants to rock?!..." and jump right into the next tune. Jamming out with the amount of adrenaline that comes with getting into a fight would be pretty cool (isn't that why so many musicians do blow?).

He continues on with a bust up rig and only stops to get a replacement guitar, he finishes off the song, nowhere does he do a superman into the crowd before announcing that because of the lame security he is out of here and goodnight.

That looked nasty, i got hit by a plastic bottle (Full of water) at school years ago, it was not pleasant but i didn't fall to the ground, he's either very sensitive and over reacting or he got seriously injured
