Mine is 9.9. It’s maybe a little heavier than I’d like, but it still sounds and feels amazing.

With the choice of a guitar that sounds great but lacks something in the feel department, Id always go with the guitar that feels great , even if the weight is a little higher, a guitar that feels good is a guitar that works with you, expressing your emotions.

Do you think I would lose my shirt if I bet on your Strat having a balanced, full toned sustaining personality ?
It's a great sounding Strat, both unplugged and amplified.

Will I need math skills to get the answer or can I just guess away?

My 2004 Standard weighs in at 13 pounds, the thing is a running joke among my pals and it is often describes as 'like playing a mantle piece'
When you first hand it someone for the first time they have a very obvious look of shock as their arm gets dragged slightly down by it, I love it ha ha

Could you give us a detailed tone description please? A Les Paul at this weight should have some unique tone and feel characteristics that set it apart from the 'herd' so to speak, Id love to know more if your okay with this..

I would have to guess the average weight of the Les Pauls on this forum is well over a 1000 pounds. There's a lot of them here!

Not much to report really, it sounds like you'd expect.
It does have a very full sound, but that's down to the pickups.
Overall it's a bit of a pain in the butt however if you like to fight a guitar it's great - You always know full well that it's there and it does weigh on your shoulders. It's quite a tough guitar to use in a band as it dominates the sound if you aren't careful. It has a lot of width to the sound that isn't always ideal.
I haven't used it in the band for a couple of years but for a home guitar it is unequalled, it has a very very rich, warm sound that is pretty incredible.
It's just a bit much to deal with for a band situation weirdly.
