My 2013 Traditional weighs in a 9.3 and I'm happy with that.

There's something wrong with the scales I used, I somehow doubt my LP is 5lbs :p
If you guys are having trouble with your scales or you don’t trust your scale just weigh yourself first then grab the guitar, hold it close to your body and weigh yourself + the guitar. Subtract the two weights and that’s usually a pretty accurate weight for the guitar. This method subtracts out any error that your scale is experiencing, unless your scale is super hosed-up.

I voted 8lbs, but it weighs 7.8 lbs. 1993 Studio Lite, it and my Strat are pretty close in weight.

I think that's not enough granularity. For example, 9.1 is totally different than 9.8. Most Les Pauls are in the 9 range, Like I have one that's 9.7 which I think is too heavy, but then I have one 9 which is great.

Might wanna re-do the poll and put a choice halfway between each number, and then specify that the weights are +/- 2.5 lbs, so a guitar at 9.6 would round off to the 9.5 mark, and one that's 9.8 would round off to 10.

Amazing!! I guess alot of it has to do with the maple cap
You might have a point there re the maple cap, but I've picked up other examples of this model that have been fairly heavy.. When I bought this one at GC, the sales guy said that this particular one was the lightest he had ever seen.

I really like the lighter weight of it - It almost feels like an SG in that regard..

Most of mine are in the 8-9 range. ES-LP lighter. 12-string Trad. probably a bit heavier.

I voted before reading the "round up" or "round down" thing. So my traditional weighs right about 9lb, the chambered 60's tribute I recently got is (I think) 7.7lb. I voted it as 7lb. Cheers

My 2020 Gibson Les Paul Standard weighs 9 pounds 4 ounces with no weight relief.
My 2020 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro V satin weighs 8.97 pounds with 9 hole weight relief.
My two new Gibson Les Pauls are flawless. A cannot believe the quality and workmanship that was put into these two guitars. Gibson as really stepped up their game.
This is the first Les Paul I’ve had without the weight relief holes. Tapping the body and I can really hear a difference.
The Tribrust is the Standard. The Ice Tea is the Traditional PRO V
