I have a Gibson Studio that's chambered, an ESP, and an Epi. Despite being produced about 15 years apart, all weigh right around 8.5 pounds. Go figure.

My 2014 Gibson Les Paul Standard has "modern weight relief" an weights 8 lbs. 11 oz. which is a good weight and feels balanced. My two 2011 MIJ ESP Elcipses weigh ~8 lbs and ~10 lbs (one light with a thinner body and one heavy with full thickness body). I mostly play Gibson Explorers and I have an '82 that's pretty heavy, I estimate over 10 lbs.

My current Les Paul guitars are the following:
- 2012 Black Custom 4,595 kg ==> 10,13 lbs (with Tyson Tone pickups, it was 0,20 lbs lighter with the original pu...)
- 2009 R6 Goldtop 4,126 kg ==> 9,09 lbs
- 2014 R9 Southern Rock Tribute (#88) 3,865kg ==> 8,52 lbs
- 2007 Epi Zakk Wylde Bullseye 4,434 kg ==> 9,77 lbs

A few Les Paul that I've had in the past and for which I kept the weight:
- 2007 Custom ri68 4,435 kg ==> 9,77 lbs
- 2011 Standard 3,914 kg ==> 8,63 lbs
- 1997 Classic 60 4,1 kg ==> 9,03 lbs
- 1981 Deluxe 4,474 kg ==> 9,86 lbs
- 1991 Deluxe All gold Hall of fame 5,2 kg ==> 11,46 lbs ( that one was very heavy. A real pain to play even seated.)
- 1989 Standard 4,7 kg ==> 10,36 lbs
- 1996 Studio Ebony / GH 4,5 kg ==> 9,92 lbs

I have 3.
A ‘12 Traditional+, ‘13 Traditional, and a Sig T.
According to my crappy luggage scale they all fall between 10 and 10.5 lbs.
I never knew that, I had to go check after reading this thread.

There's something wrong with the scales I used, I somehow doubt my LP is 5lbs :p

I measured the left one (2012 LP Trad) once before though and it came out a clean 10, and my other one (2015 LP Trad) is only a fraction lighter, so let's call that a 9...
