That is some very beautiful wood you have there.

1 piece maple and ebony neck, what are your expectations in terms of weight and sound brightness?

I do believe that the woods have a factor in shaping the overall tone of the guitar. However I also believe that the pickups are the main factor and 90% of what the guitar is going to sound like.

Paul Reed Smith always says the wood is the singer and the pickups are the microphone. I think that places too much emphasis on the wood. But he's right nonetheless.

It's just there's a lot of difference between a condensor mic and a talk box.

Whatever sound comes out, I can make pickups to get the sound the customer desires.

Shes a gonna be a heavy one :)

I dont consider that to be a bad thing, myself. I like some heft to a guitar.

As pointed out previously, the body is going to be mind-boggling :)

Will you be carving it or will it be flat? How thick is the body going to be?

Looks pretty cool! It's going to be fairly heavy and have a bright tone.

My opinion on the contribution of wood to tone is more like 70/30, pickups dominating. Wood certainly changes sound qualities.

Incidentally, it's spelled "Phoenix", not "Pheonix" and I'm only telling you that on the off chance that you wanted to inlay that name into it somewhere.

It would not be very awesome to inlay a word and find out later that you spelled it wrong. Kind of like discovering your tattoo artist can't spell!
