They were an unexpected surprise in the neck and bridge of the 57-60 :)

So yes, I may need a set of Scream'ins to put in there if a member here doesn't want the guitar without neck and bridge pups. He might as he has a set of Electric City pups that need a home.

Yeah, I went to put covers on the pickups as they had been removed at some point and to change all the rusty mounting ring screws and said OMG!

So...I had thought I was going to get this guitar all set up and playing again today, but things sort of changed  Until I know if it is leaving without 2 pickups or I put 2 more pickups in I'm kind of stuck. I don't want to put on strings and notch the bridge and check the nut yet now.

Last matched pair like yours that i recall sold for $1000.00 U.S. but that was a "friend" price and probably 1-2 years gone now.

Jackpot !!!

By "vintage" math, that would put these in the $1500 range I would guess.
Try them in your number one before you consider selling them. They will only become more desirable as time goes by.

I'd rather not sell them. I never thought I would ever get the chance to even try them.

However, I feel I don't yet have a worthy "host" guitar for them. Had I found them before I ordered the Sigil pups I probably would have put them into the Tokai custom husk.

When I have the money I'll be looking for something really, really nice for them.

Try them in many guitars. I've heard sometimes the transplant doesn't work like planned and they don't sound good as expected.

What about that egc57-60 makes it unworthy of having Dry Zs? I find they're awesome guitars.
