Been using 8$ on the Lesters ever since I dropped down to D tuna in the 90$.

10$ on the Tele & V for standard E tuna.

In the 80$, I went through an 8 phase on an Ibanez rg.

After checking out that video, I'm curious to try 8$ again!

with the nostalgia flyin' all over the place for Cortana and his sock puppet I didn't want one of our other heros who burned so brightly for so brief a time to go unremembered.

I'm still holding out hope that LtDave will unban Cortana and Rufftuff for a Friday reunion one day

Anytime someone tells me to get heavy strings or my tone will suffer i wanan punch em in the mouth. Most retarded shit I ever heard. Heres a tip: playing heavy strings just makes it harder to play, completely retarded. Its like driving a car with your feet because you think its better because its more challenging,

All these players use either 7s or 8s, and they sound way better than all you tools. Nuff said. Next time you see someone use light strings keep your mouth shut
And top wrapping.
And the tone is in the fingers.
And locking tuners make you stay in tune better.
And Duracells sound better than Energizers in stomp boxen.
And listening to only Metal makes you a better Metal player.
And men can also have babies.

By the way, I use Ernie Ball .008's* on all my Les Pauls and Strats.

*Not because I like .008's, but because I like the blue packaging. (I could never use Ernie Ball .009's because the package is pink.)

Switched to Musician's Friend, cuz they is $2.29 free shipping and just as good as any other piece of wire.

I use the pink package because I can walk into most any music store and grunt and point at them behind the counter.

I did like the rev willie 7-38’s but they are too much of a pain to get now.
