Anytime someone tells me to get heavy strings or my tone will suffer i wanan punch em in the mouth. Most retarded shit I ever heard. Heres a tip: playing heavy strings just makes it harder to play, completely retarded. Its like driving a car with your feet because you think its better because its more challenging,

All these players use either 7s or 8s, and they sound way better than all you tools. Nuff said. Next time you see someone use light strings keep your mouth shut

I'm not usually this rude to newcomers, but be quiet, please.

Both sides are annoying, the people who jack off over light gauge strings and those that do over heavier gauge strings. Strings matter more on acoustics than electrics, regarding tonality.

I play 11's because I'm sloppier with 9's or below. My fingers like the tension.

I don't advocate gauge, I advocate personal preference. Try different things. Find out what's comfy. There's no such thing as "better," only better for you and those whom agree.

Is this the only theme we can no longer deliberate our reflections on, or will there be further arbitration from your good self in the not too distant future?

I await with baited breath.

well you did start it you know.I play heavy gauge strings and you informed me I "needs punched in the mouth" then you did double up with referring to us as "tools" so you can either take as good as you try & give or go **** yourself
:applause:
