I'd like to know who the winder is "PS" Majority of pups you find are made by PS.

PS is Machine wound with an auto scatter pattern. I think it stood for something like pseudorandom or similar. Pre 2003?, the earliest ones were placed on a machine by hand. Its not entirely clear if they were hand wound or if the machine still did the scatter pattern. Those were initialed. I own quite a few of those early sets. My ears tell me they sound the best. I like the BB2/3 combo in LPs with Maple caps and BB1/2 in solid mahogany guitars like a V or Explorer.
