For the amount of test that you are going to boost naturally nolva is fine. In this particular case a person would need to be more worried about getting itchy nips, and the half life of any of the natural supps is pretty short and can be caught in time. D asparic acid can be run a long time without and problems and works great and doesnt really require any pct especially if you were using something like xt as you were going along.

If he was doing a gram of test then armadex or femora would be needed as well as a bunch of other stuff, hes proposing a booster not exogenous hormone replacement.

Heavy squats and deadlifts will boost testosterone/gh, too.:)

lol, there listed in the original post

lol, my bad :thumb:

so after reading this thread and searching some basic info today I started a pretty harcode diet.. and exercicing

did 30min earlin mornin HIIT and in the afternoon pecs, and back, then 30 min HIIT

But was wondering how much do you guys lift?? I mean given sets and reps?? or do as much sets as you can until fail?

I normally do for example in 1 set 14 reps and I put weight so that the last 3 or 2 give me fight and I couldnt lift one more even if I want.. but that is in one set I was wandering overall, ift until you cant do one more complete set??

About cardio.. watching bodybuilding video guides he says that the optimal speed for fat burning is about 65% of what you can give, (moderate pace) since it is the fat burning zone, you should be able to hold a conversation comfortably. so I was wandering faster pace wouldnt then burn more fat, or will be a waste of effort given my main mission is fat burning?

hope some of the expirienced guys could help :thumb:

yes sir! i felt like i could have gone longer when i was done but i dont want to risk injury as this is only my 3rd run yet since last week.

funny you mention smoking, i acutally have just weened off the smokes myself (acutally thats a lie, i haven't weened off the nicotine) ... but the smokes themselves yes. for the past month or so, maybe month and a half i had started to cut back on smoking, the past month i smoked maybe 3 cigarettes a day if that, the past couple weeks maybe one or two a day, and id only take about 4 or 5 drags off it then put it out. for about the past week ive been cigarette free... i still use snus, but not often, maybe 3 pouches a day if that. i plan to ween off of those as well.

Man, how do you run like that after smoking so recently ? I can barely walk 5 blocks without giving out of breath.

how much to lift? it vary from person to person. you want enough weight to challenge your muscles, it should feel heavy, however not so heavy that you cant stay in good form. you want smooth even motions, being able to isolate the muscle. have enough weight so that after a few sets your nearing temporary muscle failure (cant lift anymore) when i started out i used very light weights and high reps in slow proper form to condition my muscles.

as far as cardio speed. intervals are best... say your on a bike, pedal at a swift but not insane pace for 5 mins, then pedal as hard as you can for 2 mins, go back to a swift pace for 5 more mins, then all out for 2 mins, ect ect ect... that will burn the most fat.

probably because i was such a light smoker the past few months, that and ive been doing cardio for the past year...

kettlebells are wonderful...I haven't used mine for specifically weight training...but the cardio workout you get from just repetitive swings is insane....Using that and also doing zumba, from January to now I've dropped about 5 sizes.

The myth of the fat burning zone is just that, a myth. If you are jay cutler.or.ronnie.colemam and weight 300 lbs at 15% you are.carrying so much muscle and burning calories like a feeak and slow and steady will work. For us mere mortals, slow and steady does almost nothing unless you want to bbe on a treadmill or whatever for 45 mins at a whack twice a day. 100% max effort cardio will strip fat and put you in shorter time. Ask yourself this, if you were to run 3 miles in 30 minutes or.run it in 18, which will burn more fat? Forget the trash.about burning muscle etc, if you are engaging yourself this way its muscle sparing because its anerobic.

As far as weight training and reps, 8-12 range on large muscle groups like legs chest etc small isolation movements 15-20. Limit your rest to no more than 30sec and include timed bw movements as a finish. Like 3 or 4 chest exercises then finish with 3 rounds of various timed pushups.

Most workouts on forums mags whatever are bullshit. Trainin like a fighter or gymnast they are stromg ripped and in superb athletic shape and their bpdies are well above.average in looks.

Hamtone,

It depends more on an individual's goals, how realistic they are in context of their physiology and what dietary changes someone is willing to make.

My regimen is far more basic than it was a few years ago. No more 7 hours in the gym/week, LOL! It's more maintenance with core work mixed in. Basically I work out with weights 20-30 min 4-5 afternoons and do kettlebells 1-2 days a week. One of the things I had to learn through trial and error was nutrient timing. Getting the bulk of my calories before 2PM is key for good growth. Genetics are a huge factor, too. My workout really wouldn't be adequate for someone trying to lose weight.

I don't really watch calories, per se. It's more or less a caloric target needed to be hit to either maintain weight or get growth. Still, about 60% of total daily calories have to be consumed before 2PM or the workout won't help meet my fitness goals.

The kettlebells are awesome for improving functional strength and fat burning. They're also useful for building muscle. This one dude, Geoff Neupert wrote a great book about building muscle with kettlebells.

I can eat cleanly not looking at my calories one bit and grow. Ive trained with the watchful eye of dc local pros and made great.results. i was about 170 ish when i started and in a year iwas 200 and lean. Did a few years of alternative supplementation and was 245-250 and was big. I found i was in crappy shape i looked huge but felt like crap. I changed everything to train differently kind of how i mentioned above and went down tk 220 and about 7-8% and was in way better shape and actually looked bigger in the upper and smaller in the waist and hips.

I can maintain or build muscle and loose fat. By burning more in this method you are telling your body to grow and burn excess more efficiently, exponentially. The better shape you are the better you recover the better you train and the better you burn fat and grow at rest.
Right now im soft and need to recompose 30 lbs i will do this in 60 days and maintain having a.46" chest and bring my arms from 16 back to 17. Or.

I've used HIT with great results but DC Training never made sense to me. I probably didn't do enough research and have seen various opinions on it through the years. I ended up doing nothing but Kettlebells and bodyweight stuff for nearly a year to get back into fighting shape. Now I'm more or less balancing the two. There's no point being big if you can't lay the smack down should the need arise.:)

The kettlebell's main downside is burning too much fat. I dropped nearly 20 pounds in 4 months with the damn thing and didn't feel or look fat to begin with.

For me it comes down to how rapidly the weight goes up. Too fast and I get knee pains, LOL!

FWIW, I'm a DragonDoor affiliate http://www.dragondoor.com/?apid=jakeislove but there's a lot of great info on their forums about fitness.

Don't know what my bodyfat percentage is but would guess it's around 10. I am not competing again and there's really no need to track it. If I were going to track anything it would be changes in neck circumference relative to stomach. That's a tried and true rough way to know if the weight you're putting on is more muscle than fat/water.

I weigh about 190 now but felt really good at 213. I'm going to slowly sneak back up to 208 and see how much mobility is lost. After that I'll slim back down a few pounds for a nice balance.

becky and i are going to a local running store today so i can get fitted for some technical running shoes. the place im going fits you to the best match according to your gate, arch, pronation, size ect... i see myself really getting into running so i think a good pair of shoes will be smart as far as injury prevention.

im itching to go running again, i plan on another 5k wensday...

Now on day 5 of Gaspari Viridex XT test booster. I am sleeping deeper than I ever have, the quality of rest im getting is insane, during the day I seem to have a bit more eneergy as well, and possibly elevated mood. From what ive read it takes about 2 weeks to notice full effects from the product, then again some folks that tried it have reported feeling effects in 4 days.
