Anybody have an Eventide Timefactor?

It seems like the mother of all delay's, but I'm a little confused about how it does some things that seem pretty simple.

eg, let's say I want to tap in a tempo and have it give me dotted eighth note delays. I read the manual online and it doesn't explain how this works at all.

I assume it's pretty straightforward, but maybe not. That thing looks like it'll launch nuclear missles if you use it wrong.

I just picked one up. It sounds really sweet. Let me play with it some more and I'll post something tomorrow. I know it's really easy. I tried it once - just forgot what I did 'cause the damn thing does so much.

Found this on another forum. Pretty simple...


"pick a delay type.

click the encoder (the knob you use to select delay type).

change tempo from off to on.

use the time knob to bip on over to .8's."

I have one. It's gathering dust until the poxy power supply gets replaced with a T-Rex power pack. Shame on you Eventide.
