Anybody going to the Mumford and Sons event in Seaside this weekend?

My lady got me into them and they're throwing a mini-festival in seaside heights friday and saturday. Should be a good time. I like M&Sons ok, but I'm really stoked to see the Alabama Shakes and the Flaming Lips!

If you're there I'll be the guy in shorts getting progressively more buzzed as the nights go on!

Holy hell. The Alabama Shakes took the wind out of me. That woman and her band rock harder, and sweeter than anyone I've heard in a damn long time. I can't even describe it. If I could put 10% of the soul that she has in my voice I'd be Curtis Mayfield.

The Flaming Lips were suitably weird and awesome, and I'm now a full fledged Mumford and Sons fan. Incredible power and presence in their music. A great weekend indeed.
