We
used
to make
tea from the
contents of asthma cigarettes.

Man - that brew of omnopon and scopolamine would trip you out for the weekend.....

I'd rather drink the coffee or tea than take pills, and enjoy the taste that goes with the "pick me up".

So would I.
I was not espousing pills or energy drinks.....
.....rather, pointing out that tea is a better pick-you-up than coffee.

Quite good, provided you go easy on the liquor. It's all in the proportionate amounts.

I wonder how any of these taste with liquor. :hmm:

Sweet tea and vodka is a winning combination. :thumb:

I drink lots of tea myself. Coffee when it's not available. Black tea only. I have no use for green tea.

I like mine with a splash of 1/2+1/2. Lipton is my usual. Tetley when money is good. Tazo is good too, as is Twinings.

Give the Tetley a try, I bet you'd like it.

I buy loose tea in bulk and mix 6 parts black tea with one part green. Earl Grey is flavored with bergamot, I don't like it.

Question for the Brits...

We have English Breakfast Tea, Irish Breakfast Tea, and even Scottish Breakfast Tea.

All tastes the same to me. Marketing, or are my American taste buds too dull to tell the difference? :hmm:

I'd go for marketing, though I can't say I've ever seen Irish or Scottish breakfast tea (or I've just not noticed) - perhaps this is a US thing? IMHO Breakfast Tea is Breakfast Tea (and that's probably a marketing tag too as I reckon most of us drink "Breakfast Tea" all day, though I guess some may switch to less manly brews later in the day).

Marketing - if it's in a tea-bag, it's dust from the tea blending room floor.
