Turtle wax safe on nitro?? Any other car waxes safe for our nitro??

You realize that from the 1950s back, GM used nitro on their cars. My dad had MANY pre 1960s GM cars he waxed, didn't seem to hurt them.

I've used it but my current fav is the Dunlop cleaning products. That plus the Big Bends Nut Sauce keeps the maintenance easy. That and Finger Ease for when the necks get sticky on the back or the strings get too dry feeling. It might shave some life off but it works great and causes no fretboard issues. I use the whole Dunlop line of bottles and it really works great. I've used Dunlop, Gibson, Planet Waves, Big Bends, Ernie Ball, Fender, etc cleaning supplies and Dunlop is my favorite. Never tried Virtuoso but I might someday.

I use it. But only before I'm about to sell a guitar. Seems to fool people pretty well.

I use it. Works fine. I like it better than wax because you don't get any build-up with it or chalky residue in tight spots. YMMV.
