Hi,

I am in LOOOVE with my old Celestion G12H30 55Hz Pulsonic Cone Speakers.
Every now and then I am thinking about trying the 75hz, but I know from the G12M types, that I prefer the 55Hz Cones quite a bit (I play with very little gain).
Yet I never had the chance of playing the Heritage Speakers side by side with the real thing. I am totally aware of the great reputation Scumback has and I am not after a Celestion vs Scumback thread.

Doing my internet research, I found older threads anywhere, where trusted people stated the Celestion Heritage shared definitely much of the Pulsonic vibe, while, for not being broken-in completely, sound like, well, NEW Speakers. Pretty much how the Pulsonics might have sounded 40 years ago.

To my own surprise I never found a statement from somebody who compared the Heritages after a few YEARS of playing to the real deal Pulsonics.
Hello Universe... is there anybody out there... ANYBODY...? Someone who played Heritages which got the ****** kicked out of the Cone and played them for some years and put them side by side to old Greenbacks?

I would be delighted if somebody chimed in with more knowledge about this than myself.

best regards

Hard to tell since I only have a single 55hz to compare to an old 4X12 cabinet.

My Heritage has a lot of hours, and has bounced around a couple amps. It's softened up a little, but still a little stiff. Good speaker.

It's not a very loud speaker and would be curious about the loudness compared to an old GB?

The Heritage takes a lot longer to break in, in my experience due to the heavier magnet....
