Another strap question.....

I bought a strap for my R9 but I don't like it, too thin and feels like it is going to slip off all the time.

I have a Fender strap for my Strat that I love, it is one of the buckle adjustment types where as the one I bought has the loop through type of adjustment.

I guess what I am looking for is a buckle adjustment, leather or swede thick strap, maybe with some locking mechanism like the ones on the Planet waves straps so I do not have to install strap locks

Any ideas?

IMO, the 3"-wide Franklin guitar straps are the best for the heavy Les Pauls and the Schaller strap locks are the best for securing the guitar and for easy locking and unlocking.
