"I'm selling an 11 x 10 in. (black) amplifier too"

I can only imagine what a piece of crap the amplifier would be that he is selling it by measurements.

But... didn't you note that the "strings are in perfect condition"?!

You don't see THAT every day!

Not a "fake". It's a low-budget copy. Still, the seller will be lucky to be able to give it away, let alone sell it?

I almost want to contact him just to burst his bubble...but, been there, done that. And, it aint pretty.:laugh2:

It's been waxed monthly for 58 years.

That's gotta be worth something right there.

I think the seller is just that thick that he'd believe it was a Strat if someone had told him so:shock:

I was gonna say "pass" until I saw that the poster has been waxing it monthly. That's got to add at least 3-4k to the value of the guitar.
Unfortunately on top of everything else it's also a clown burst.

I'd report him, but honestly anyone that buys that thinking it's real, is a moron.

Twats like that are deserving of scamming back.

Contact him and tell him you'd like to meet him in a public place, somewhere that's an hour from where he lives, pray for thundering rain and then don't turn up.

When he contacts you reply with lots of HAHAHAHAHA etc. :)

dunno where seller got the Gibson idea from.. i'm surprised to see there is no name on the headstock..

looks like one of them MIJ generic no-name "lawsoot" copies.. since it's not one of those chinese fakes, it might be worth $150-$200 at most..

Yes,that is what it is. Early 70's japanese. You can tell because it has the rounded neck end hanging over the body of the guitar .

Would love to know why he thinks it's a '55. Pretty sure there was only 3 bolts on the neck mounting plate that year. :)

That dude sold a 84"X48" car last year. Wipers were in perfect condition!

You know...

I'm really, really, really glad I chanced upon this site before I bought my Gibson.

Obviously, I wouldn't have fallen for that one, but I might have fallen for a Chinese fake just because I didn't know what to look for.
