I made a post a couple of weeks ago about using smaller amps for recording. Live I use a Mesa Triple Rec with a 4x12 or a Roadster 2x12 Combo. I just couldnt get them to sound crisp on recordings so I went with my little Mesa Subway Rocket and did some cover tunes with my old band Aint Yo Mama. We are making a demo cd to book gigs with and came up with some really sweet sounding stuff. I dont know how to post audio here so I will leave a link for some stuff I posted on another site, check out the cover tunes and listen to the rythym guitars. I double tracked a Les Paul and a Strat thru the Subway Rocket on most of these. On Plush I spiked the amp with a Tube Screamer but the rest are just straight into the amp.

B, is that Gary Richtcraft in your avator. I know I misspelled that, I love his guitar tone. Back On The Road was badass. Thanks for the props, my singer would kick my butt cause those are just scratch vocals. Hes going to go back in and re-record his parts and spice it up a little.

Gary Richrath is one of my favorite LP players. :D

Your singer should be happy--when I heard Pinball wizard I initially thought you were using a Who backing track with Townsend on the vocal! :D

Again, great job.
