Amp P$&n Thread….Amps are BEAUTIFUL!!!

C’mon everyone…amps are exciting to look at!! We are all guilty of hearing with our eyes half the time, and with the sentimental thoughts. We associate the amps that we play through with The bands we grew up listening to and watching on videos. We get excited about new innovative builders that offer “refinements and improvements“ on the legendary original designs that we are all familiar with. I’m a metalhead at heart, but I love all amps!! I end up trying to get “great clean tones” out of high-gain amps, and I challenge myself to get metal tones out of vintage style amps haha!!!
I’ll start this thread with my practice amp, which covers everything that you would want in one box at low to fairly loud volumes. Sexy looking amp too…

I'm not sure what P$&n means, but I wanna play too: so, here's my Carr Mercury V. DAMN SWEET at all volume levels:

I’m a sucker for amp p$&n. This little white head has been #1 in rotation the last week or so. Built by my buddy, loosely based on a vibrolux, he just recently added a bright cap at my request, ala Marshall and it is a beast. Cathode bias, 2x6l6, and a 5u4 tube rectifier, its very responsive to guitar controls, like my sv20h. Crank it all the way up for crunchy punk distortion. Or enjoy some sparkling cleans and put the pedals to it. The super and the Marshall don’t suck either. I like his amps so much, I’ve got another build from him coming soon. It’s loosely based on a vox, el84’s this time around. It will be the third one of his builds I own.

The new NEO V type speaker is also a winner in my book.
