So when this popped up today for reasonable money I thought why not, if I don't like it I can definitely make my money back.
I haven't had a chance to play it plugged in so no thoughts about sound.
Fit and finish are excellent and playability is excellent as well.
My first guitar with a Bigsby so I'm interested to mess with that.
Overall so far so good, I'll update after I clean it and give it a setup.
Odd thing.... when I get to the meet site, I recognize the guy.
He has previously sold me my Epi Wildkat, a 70s vintage 1x12 cab and my Mesa Stilleto amp so this was our 4th deal.
As he was leaving he said "See you next time "
I said "Save time, call me before you post something"

Anyways, here are a few quick pics of my new Epiphone Riviera P93.
It came with the TKL case

I can't tell you how many times I tried one of these and almost bit. I still flirt with the idea of having one. Great guitars.

Congrats. Epiphone semi-hollow bodies are fantastic guitars. Enjoy that beautiful Riviera!

Well so far I'm really liking it, I need more time with it to see if it's a keeper.
I actually have some "nut lube" that was in the case of another guitar I bought awhile back.

Hollow body with P90’s? Yes please!!
That's what I said ....

Thanks.
I've enjoyed my Wildkat so I didn't have to think too long about the Riviera. Both are excellent players .

I played one a few years ago on a rare visit to GC.
I plugged it into a Pro Jr.
It had the most microphonic pickups I'd heard since my '59 Melody Maker that I used to sing a verse of "Who Do You Love" into the pickup.
You could hear every turn of the knobs, flick of the switch...even just touching the guitar.
I LOVED IT!
It felt like trying to control a funny car.
I shouda bought that one!
