Scott Grove was probably my first ever annoying member I really couldn’t stand when he first came here years ago.
He sure had a temper :laugh2:

I don't even remember this guy. Before my time?

I noticed on my WiFi at home, no popups anymore with Chrome. If I'm on 4g, I still get popups but not as bad as it was. So there is an improvement

For the past week, with Chrome, it logs me out after a while of no use, despite checking the "Stay logged on" box. I have to log in many times per day.

My phone hasn't asked me for a password in over a month.

He disappeared, and reappeared on YouTube.

And he's disappearing again?

That can’t be him. Doesn’t look or sound like him. Unless he had surgery or something

Ok, so I'm not sure if anyone ever solved this, and I don't feel like reading through all 23 pages so here is how to fix the pop-up problem on Android (Apple users are out of luck :dunno:)

*Be aware - You may need to re-enter any saved passwords and usernames after completing this process.

Step 1: Open a new browser window.

Step 2: Press the 3 little dots in the upper right corner and select "Settings"

Step 3: Scroll down and under "Advanced" select "Site settings"

Step 4: Now select "All sites"

Step 5: This next step is the tedious part, but will get rid of your pop up problem.

Once you've selected "All sites" in step 4 you'll see a list of web pages.

Now you'll need to go down the list selecting them one at a time.

This will open a new window showing you the site name, storage and permissions.

At the bottom there is a button that says "Clear and Reset" press this.

It will then ask you if you're sure and give you the option to cancel or clear and reset.

Select "Clear and Reset"

This will take you back to the previous list of web pages, and you'll want to repeat the process until you've gone through the entire list.

Don't be worried if you've done the entire list and still see "Google" listed twice. The Android OS won't allow you to remove it, but will let you clear the permissions.

If all was done correctly you should be good as new with no more pop-ups.

Happy browsing!!
