I've wanted a spank-the-plank type guitar for some time now. I've been looking for a used Japanese model, but they are kind of hard to find. Then I stumbled upon an ad from Kurosawa Music on Reverb. Couldn't resist pulling the trigger. It's this and on the way now to Switzerland:

It's easy to do something stupid with MIJ guitars. I'm a living example. I love their QC, their attention to details and their bang for the buck thing. Gonna sell my Gibson 93 LP Custom and my PRS from around the same time to make room for some more Jap guitars.

I’m down to only 3 gibsons now. Ones super cool, ones super sentimental, and the third might just be up on the block in the near future. I really could go the rest of my life paying my all mahogany traditional and be very content, but it’s hard to know that one cool guitar can be turned into at least 2 cool guitars with a little luck and patience.
