I don't see why they would get back on the plain after the first one crashed.
Eating people the first time around would be enough for me.

What is Aces best work?

I love Alive but the whole vibe on Alive II is spectacular, his playing seems a bit better and his tone is brilliant.

Yep, especially on Larger Than Life, All American Man and Rockin' In The USA :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

I'd say Alive! bests Alive II. II had girly tunes like Christine Sixteen and Ladies Room, Rocket Ride - still good songs of course, but the music was more raw on ! than II, although II was arguably a better live show. I also thought Ace's tone on II was way to bright - too much presence, and his solo wasn't as cool as the one on ! in She. The whole band was more Pop, much more commercial by II.

But, they're both legendary albums. As for III? Bargain bin material in my opinion. I don't even know what band that was, but it was a hard rock band given over to the sickening 90's acoustic trend.

Live sound on Alive II was terrible. And aside from Rocket Ride, the studio tracks eat a$$. Alive for the win.

I think a lot of the Alive II vibe for me is the nostalgia of that era in Kiss time, they had reached a pinnacle and graced magazine cover after cover, midnight special and Don Kirshners rock concert. It was a good time to be alive as a young kid or teen, all I ever wanted was to be Ace and now I'm glad I wasn't lol.
