They are really an old model from the Stax, Muscle Shoals template of a largely white rock and roll group backing a gospel tinged black singer. Hard to beat. I kind of hate to speak in color code as music has no color, really, but I can't think of a better way to describe it. The singers down here giving it up on Sundays in largely black churches every week have to be seen/heard to be believed. Most never sing outside of that context. Great stuff.
