Does anyone know how long this one will remain on sale for? Does kurt have a certain pattern that he follows regarding sales? Is it a matter of weeks? Days? I am seriously flirting with grabbing this one once I save another hundred or so, but it will take me another two weeks to save that.

That's a deal all right.Kurt can be unpredictable with things like that, but off hand I doubt it will last long.Best bet would be to email Kurt and ask him.

"Actual Weight is only 10 lbs"

This is what kills me with these. I played some older ones and they were nice 7-8lbs guitars. What happened?

there is a left handed gold top AL-3000 for $299 as well. only difference is it has MOP inlays instead of abalone.\

also it seems the look of the AL-2500 natural has changed. i like it more now.

Well god damned it, the one I really want (purple bird) is never on sale anyway. But I would certainly settle for another finish if the price were right and the pickups were the humbuckers, as opposed to the single coils. Anyway, this is horrendous, having to compete with people who sit and monitor ad infinitum for sales.

Those of you who are left handed certainly do not have to compete like this when sales are up. I would think.

you advertised the "deal" on a messageboard.

It's no wonder someone snatched it up.

nah, I think it was likely gone before that since it was posted over at the agile forum long before I posted it here.

I just ordered a spalted maple dye wine red. Same specs as the sunburst and same price. Always wanted a ebony fretboard and now I'll have one. Gotta be better than my Xavier. Although now that I have the fret thing straightened out it ain't actually bad either, especially for 130 bucks plus shipping. thanks

PS here is the link http://www.rondomusic.com/al3000wineredspalted.html

I wonder if kurt is considering dropping the prices of al3000s. He seems to be doing a sale on a lot of them lately.

If my agile al2000 is any indication of how good a 3000 would be, then I am already sold.

I may actually send my epiphone tribute back and get an al3000 since I am not really too happy with the epi (neck/playability issues and such).

I mean would you believe that my 225$ al2000 came better set up, and felt better in my hands than the 800$ tribute?

Although I must say that the tribute has quite better pickups. But then that can all be altered anyway.

I've been on the AGF forum for two years now, and I am still amazed how fast the b-stock and new special items get snapped up. You see it?
no time to hesitate. do it. I found a standout deal yesterday, waited
a couple hours, but was still able to get one. 3200 at 399w/case
Funniest thing, I like the board, and the people there, but it's my first agile, and, a top shelf one at little dollars.

Amazingly, there might still be a couple left. now, to explain to the wife.
You know how that goes.

i've finally got the money to buy and now i cant decide on finish vs price. i like the white 3200 but the see through binding showing the tan color kinda blows that for me. thinking maybe the wine red spalted or maybe even a blue flame dauntless.... anyone know if the dauntless is closer to the al2k or al3k?

The 3200 is a lot of guitar and will kicks the snot out of the Dauntless. 3000 or better.

Just sayin...

If I recall correctly, the only difference between the 2000 and the dauntless are the "upgraded" pickups and maybe different inlays
In other words, I'm pretty confident that the 2500 is closer to the 2000
