Walk into local guitar shops and ask if they know of any old stuff for sale.

That's how I was able to score by 56 Special..

You never know what someone may have available.

Id buy a cherry red 1959 les paul junior doublecut. They are beautiful guitars and usually run around 8k from what ive seen lately.

I agree, a Melody Maker is the best bang for the buck.

ES345s can sometimes be had for reasonable $. Fantastic guitars. Just off the radar it seems.
ES330s, still very reasonable.

Juniors, always a good bet.

If you're into hollowbodies ES-125TDC's often go for about 2500 they have a nice Finish on them and Double P90's.

That goldtop is a beaut! 250 for shipping? I would never drop that kind of money without playing it first and inspecting it personally.
So many people on Ebay are in the s/h buisness as a second angle.

yeah i was going to say that there are late 40's and 50's es 125's on ebay for around $1000

they're pretty mean guitars.
