AFD vs. R9 vs. Epi

what is exactly that he is compering? the pickups? the wood?, was the high of the pickups the same in each guitar?, did they had the same strings and gauges? what about the potentiometers?

This kind of tests tell me nothing but that they all are different guitars, thats all.

He is comparing the STOCK guitars to each other..all being in their own price range..not everyone in the world swaps out pickups. (I feel sorry for those people)

THey all sounded quite good. I think the Epi was competeing quite well on the overdrive and the blues crunch but it couldn't on the cleans.

AFD sounded great, but so did the R9! The tinny or brightness of the R9 is due to the BB pickups. Just different, but not bad at all.
I would argue that putting in the A2P Slash in the R9 with a good upgrade in the electronics and it will sound better than the AFD.

The Epiphone sounded poor to my ears. It was muffled compared to the others, less highs and punch, and weak in feel.
