So the Gibson Adam Jones Standard Les Paul says bridge pickup is a DC High-Gain Humbucker. Is this an all new pickup? Or just a fancy name for an existing pickup like a 500T?

I saw that nobody has answered your question, which is a blower because I have the same one. I have a LP Standard 60s, with a Seymour Duncan custom shop greenie humbucker in the neck and Gibson DC high gain from an Adam Jones LP Standard in the bridge. Love the sound of them isolated and together.

I doubt the 500T and the Gibson DC high gain are the same because the 500T is ceramic. I would think Gibson would say that the Gibson DC high gain is ceramic if it was. Then, if so, that would lead to the "are they the same?" question if they were both ceramic. Aren't ceramic and Alnico magnets very visually different from each other? If the latter is Alnico, they are very different pickups. (?)

Well, given that the Duncan Distortion (which is what he used and what I'd expect in the sig model) is a thick ceramic mag pickup, it would make sense for it to be the same in the Standard's pickup. Maybe DC stands for 'Doublethick Ceramic'
I sense that the 500T was supposed to be 'like' the DD anyhow.....the same way that the 498T was like either the Custom or the Super D
