I was wanting a basic acoustic to keep in the living room so I found a Yamaha F-335 on eBay for a good price. Got it in today and it is just fine other than high string action.
-Putting a capo on the 3rd fret shows a little clearance on the first fret so I'm assuming the nut height is okay plus the slots looks good to my untrained eye.
- Putting capo on the 1st fret then pressing down on the 14th or 15th fret gives me roughly .09 clearance at the 7th and 8th fret so I'm calling neck relief good.
- Capo on the first fret then measuring action at the 12th is 6/32 on the low E and 4/32 on the high E.
So do I just take the bridge saddle out and sand the bottom to bring the string action down?
Thanks!
Jimmy
