After hearing the samples on amazon.uk, I was pleasantly surprised at his rendition of "the joker". I mean I love steve miller, but Ace put a cool spin on it and it sounds great IMO. Like all of you, looking forward to my pre-ordered copy.

Samples are up?! Cool. I had a feeling he would do a good cover. I like his version of Do Ya as good or better than ELO version.

I like what Ace does with covers. I don't care about special guests at least not other guitarists. But I'm excited to check it out. Maybe since they're covers it won't take five years to actually come out.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how well this album came out. He's playing his ass off, and the songs are a lot heavier. Vocals are ok, and lyrics are typical Ace stuff so no surprises there. After hearing the samples online I was kind of underwhelmed, but the full songs are not what I was expecting.

Got it at lunch today, and have given it three spins so far. A lot of good stuff. Well worth the $12 for the diehards.

yes I do agree, much more guitar as it should be imo, songs well some better than others but overall great stuff!

Best effort since his '78 solo record in my opinion.
