So with moving day coming around the corner I've been trying to tie up loose ends. I have a local music shop near me I do a lot of consignment stuff with. So, I sold a guitar and was picking up the cash when I spotted this little number. I asked him how much and oh it happens to be almost exactly the same amount I have on an amp of mine he hasn't sold yet. I suggested I get the cash for the sold guitar, and straight up trade my amp for this and that will settle it up and take one more thing off my plate. I present to you...my first Jaguar! It's a squier, but it's rock solid. I'm liking it very much so far as I have really whittled my collection down to LP's, Strats, Teles, and one Gretsch, so I've been jonesing for something totally off-beat to me. I think she's purty. And a really cool faux alligator case to boot!

I had a Squier VM Mustang, traded it. I have a Strat shaped Squier Bullet, a Squier VM Jazzmaster and 2 Teles. Haven't had a Jag or a real Strat yet.

A Jag is the only other Fender I want, and a few more Teles...

I've been playing my teles almost exclusively lately. I never WANTED a Jaguar, yet here I am. The deal was too easy to pass up.

i can’t tell if it’s a sonic blue or a surf green. I have never once considered ever getting a Jaguar and now I can’t believe what I was missing out on.

Like I said...this one just fell into my lap! I liked the look and the neck felt great so here I am. It’s funny, when I was younger I could never get along with strats, so I steered clear of all Fender stuff. Now my two go-to fiddles are a tele and this Jag.

Yeah, man! It's been too long since I've had a Fender, besides my forever J-bass. Maybe after I sell some of these extraneous guitars I've got collecting dust around here, I'll get into another Fender.

I've always wanted a Tele Deluxe...

... or a Jazzblaster...

:cheers2:

Stunning, that was no accident though was it? It was a subconscious move. Congrats!

It sounds great cranked through a dsl 40. Very versatile. A little more prone to feedback than I expected, but I play much cleaner than I used to.

Jags are awesome, and misunderstood / under rated which is great for fans of them.
I have owned one for 22 years and will never ever part with it.
Congrats on yours, that colour combination and amberish neck is killer!
